Payment plans
Spread the cost of a website or bespoke build over 12 months, with nothing added.
The short version
- A website or bespoke build can be paid in 12 equal monthly payments instead of upfront.
- The total is the same as the upfront price. There is no interest and no fee.
- Payments are collected by Direct Debit through Stripe, on the same date each month.
- What you are paying for becomes yours once the last payment is made.
1. What can be paid this way
Website builds and bespoke software builds. Monthly plans such as Website Care, Software Care and local visibility are already paid monthly and are not part of a payment plan; they continue as separate services under the terms of business.
2. How much you pay
The agreed price divided into 12 equal payments, with nothing added:
| Build | Upfront | 12 monthly payments of |
|---|---|---|
| Website, from | £1,950 | £162.50 |
| Bespoke software, from | £6,000 | £500 |
Your proposal states the exact price and monthly amount for your project.
3. When payments are taken
- The first payment is taken when you accept the proposal, before work starts.
- The remaining 11 are taken on the same date each month by Direct Debit, collected through Stripe.
- All 12 payments are due within 12 months, whether or not the build is finished sooner.
4. When it becomes yours
- Websites: the finished site, its words and photos pass to you once the last payment is made. Your domain is registered in your name from the start.
- Bespoke software: your permanent licence to use the system starts once the last payment is made. Until then you may use it while your payments are up to date.
- Your own data is always yours, whatever stage the payments are at.
5. If a payment is missed
- I will contact you first. Most missed payments are a bank or card problem, and are sorted with a quick message.
- If a payment is more than 14 days late, I may pause work and, after 7 days' written notice, pause the website or system until it is paid.
- Late payment interest and compensation may be charged under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
6. Paying off early or stopping
- You can pay off the remaining balance at any time, with nothing extra to pay.
- If you end the plan early for any other reason, the remaining balance becomes due.
- If I end the agreement because I can no longer do the work, you pay only for what has been delivered, and I hand over everything you have paid for.
7. Who can use a payment plan
Payment plans are for businesses buying for business use. Each plan is agreed individually, and I may ask for payments upfront instead where a plan is not suitable.
